Terms and Conditions

Please note your date is not confirmed until your booking fee is received. The amount of booking fee required will be 50% of the total . The fee reserves all items hired and our service,( if required) for your event. The final payment is due 6 weeks before your event date and will include a £100 security deposit for hired props. Your deposit will be refunded immediately all hire items have been returned as received. Cancellation prior to 12 weeks will incur the total of the original booking fee, cancellations later than 12 weeks will incur the full cost.

We require a deposit in the unlikely event of missing or damaged goods. Please note that you are hiring the goods from Couture Event Décor and our contract is with you as the hirer. If you are having your goods delivered and collected from your venue, e.g. a hotel, then it is your responsibility to ensure that the goods are packed ready for us to collect.

Please provide us with details of your venue contact and we will arrange delivery and collection on your behalf. Please contact us immediately should there be any loss or damage, as in most cases we will be able to help. Only when there is no other option will we charge for replacement of an item.

Mileage is charged at 50 pence per mile from Eh46 7EXif outside a 20 mile radius. The first 20 miles are included in your costings.

All items remain the property of Couture Event Decor
During the period of hire, The Hirer shall be solely responsible for the hired goods and insuring the goodsCouture Event Décor shall not be responsible for injury or damage to persons or property arising from our goods under hire.

The contract for the hire of goods is between Couture Event Décor and the hirer, not the venue unless goods are being hired directly by the venue. It is the Hirers responsibility to ensure that the venue is clearly instructed so that the terms and conditions are met. It is then the responsibility of the Hirer to reclaim any of these costs from the venue if the venue was at fault.

A Refundable Security Deposit is payable in addition to the hire charges, to cover loss or damage to hired goods.

Loss or damage to hired goods will be charged at full replacement value

The hire period is for three days, delivery and collection times and dates will be confirmed at the time of booking.

In no circumstances shall our liability to you exceed the value of the invoice.

Caution should be exercised in particular with the use of candles, and we shall not be liable for any damage caused as a result of using candles. Permission should be sought from the venue as to the suitability of all items hired.
